Addis Ababa, May 23, 2026 — The world-class grandeur ceramic factory inaugurated today positions Ethiopia to compete in global markets, marking a major milestone in the country’s industrial transformation, according to Office of the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, together with high-level government officials, inaugurated the factory located in Mojo City. The facility, a world-class ceramic and porcelain tile manufacturing plant spanning 300,000 square meters, is completed in just nine months from land preparation to full commissioning, the Office added.
